Thanks to everyone that attended our January meeting. We have had a good response to our dues flyer and the 2024 budget has been approved, so you can look forward to three new projects including beautification projects at our three entrances, a printed newsletter to periodically supplement our web page and a renewal of our Yard of the Month recognition.
Terri Bailey is working on the beautification project and looking for volunteers. Our entrances are the first impression to visitors and prospective neighbors, and the newsletter will reach the households that cannot reach our web site. Myra Waldrop and Phil Hennen will be heading the Yard of the Month Project, so watch for the sign of recognition each month. We are working on a new neighbor welcoming committee, some other ideas and are also getting ready for Easter in the park TBD. All these events are free to WLHNA residents.
It is time to sign up for free trees that will be furnished by the City of Fort Worth, a project chaired by Adam Noggle. The details and request form are on our web site.
Our next meeting will be on March 11th, the second Monday in March, and our Cowtown Cleanup of Smith Wilemon Park in our neighborhood will be on March 23rd, 8-11am.
Please come to the next meeting and participate in our projects. Who can resist the Easter Bunny?
Thanks,
Charles
